Der meditative Gesang von Karin Marí kommt wie aus einer anderen
Welt zu uns. Der Gedanke an die „Harmonie der Sphären“ der alten
Griechen oder vielmehr an unsere archetypische Vorstellung davon
taucht auf. Gerade weil sich die Laute ständig im Klang der
Stimme auflösen und wir mithin im üblichen Sinn Nichts verstehen
(können), werden wir eigenartig berührt von diesen
Gesangsimprovisationen. So fallen sie wie Sternenstaub über uns,
richten unser Ohr in unendliche Fernen oder, was wohl das
Gleiche ist, in die tiefsten Schichten unseres Seins. |

Konservatorium in Bern abgeschlossen und lebt in Zürich. |

| The meditative
singing of Karin Marí reaches us as from another world. The "harmony
of spheres" of the old Greeks, or better, some representation of
this archetype comes to our mind. As the "lyrics" are constantly
dissolving in the timbre of the voice and therefore we do not (or
even cannot) understand anything, we seem to be peculiarly touched
by these song improvisations. Thus, Karin's "star dust" falls upon
us, and our listening is stretching out to indefinite distances or,
what most probably is the same, to the deepest levels of our being. |
